Who we are
Schmitdy is an AI Search growth company run by AI Heroes and founded by Marco Lobo. We operate from London, United Kingdom, and Cologne, Germany.

What we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when requesting an AI Search audit, booking a call, or contacting us, plus limited technical data needed to operate and improve the site.
- Contact and company details, including name, work email, company, website, role, and industry.
- Audit context, including competitors, target questions, current tools, discovery source, budget range, timing, and notes.
- Basic request data such as page path, referrer and timestamp. For audit-form abuse prevention, we store a one-way, day-scoped hash of the request IP address rather than the raw address.

How we use your data
We use submitted information to respond to your request, prepare or deliver an audit, assess whether we can help, improve the website, and communicate about closely related Schmitdy services. We do not sell personal data.

Legal basis
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process data to take steps you request before entering a contract, perform a contract, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, or act on your consent where required.

Service providers
We use selected providers to run the website and handle enquiries. They may process limited data for those purposes.
- Vercel for website hosting, analytics and same-origin BotID abuse protection.
- Supabase for secure form and lead storage.
- Resend for transactional notifications.
- Calendly for call booking; after an audit request, the booking calendar receives the submitted name and email as prefilled details when it loads, even if no call is scheduled.

Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, our relationship with you, and applicable legal or security requirements. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, while recognising that no internet service is risk free.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your data, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.

We use limited technical storage and privacy-conscious analytics to keep the site working, understand broad usage patterns, and prevent abuse. We do not use the Schmitdy website to sell personal data or build third-party advertising profiles.
