B2B SaaS & AI Search

Be the product AI puts on the shortlist.

Schmitdy runs AI search visibility for funded B2B SaaS and AI companies. We track the questions buyers ask before a demo, strengthen the product evidence behind the answers and measure whether the work leads to qualified booked demo starts.

Managed AI SearchFrom £1,200 / month
Half to start. Half when either agreed monthly goal is met.

A fresh plan every 30 days · First baseline in week one

For teams with a live product, a defined category and people who can confirm product claims. Scope and fee depend on the markets, languages and work agreed.

The buying problem

A buyer asks for a shortlist before your sales team knows the deal exists.

The answer may group your product into the wrong category, repeat an old limitation or cite a comparison that never considered you. A polished homepage cannot correct every source behind that answer. We map the question, the wording and the cited evidence, then give each useful correction an owner.

Strong SEO foundations still matter. Google says useful, reliable content, crawlable pages, internal links and structured data that matches visible text remain relevant for its AI features. It also says inclusion is not guaranteed. Google’s guidance for AI features and websites.

The working loop

Follow the buyer question from category research to a qualified demo.

We agree the buying stages, roles, markets, languages and engines before measurement begins. Category discovery, vendor comparison, security review and implementation research need different questions and evidence. Your plan specifies the tracked set across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.

What we inspect

  • Shortlist presenceDoes the sampled answer name your product, place it in the right category and describe the fit accurately?
  • Evidence behind the answerWhich product pages, documentation, comparisons, communities and publications support the claims in the response?
  • Commercial pathCan an interested buyer move from the cited page to the right product detail, proof and demo step without losing context?

How it becomes delivered work

  • Sample and recordRun the agreed questions, retaining the engine, date, response and cited URLs. Missing runs remain visible.
  • PrioritiseRank gaps by buying stage, product fit and likely commercial value, then agree the next work with your team.
  • Prepare and approveSchmitdy drafts the page, technical fix or source contribution. Your product owner confirms factual claims before publication.
  • Verify and compareRead back the published work and compare a complete period using the agreed method. Later movement is evidence to investigate, not proof of cause.

The four foundations

Product truth, buyer language and accountable delivery.

01

Buyer questions

A versioned set drawn from sales conversations, category research and the decisions made before and after a shortlist.

02

Product evidence

Confirmed facts about use cases, integrations, security, implementation and fit, linked to the pages that can support them.

03

Source graph

The comparisons, documentation, public discussions and editorial sources used in the answers we sample.

04

A working channel

Product, marketing and sales contacts work with us in Slack, Teams or WhatsApp. Claims and approvals stay visible.

What we deliver

The evidence a considered software purchase needs.

The monthly plan follows observed gaps. AI agents support research and preparation; experienced operators review every claim, asset and public contribution before it ships.

Category and comparison pages

Explain the category, alternatives and tradeoffs in terms a buyer can check. We only create a comparison where there is a real decision to help with.

  • Category pages that state who the product is for and the problem it solves
  • Comparison structures grounded in confirmed capabilities and limitations
  • Clear routes from research to a relevant product or demo step

Product, use case and integration evidence

Connect broad promises to concrete product facts. Your product owner confirms what is available, planned or out of scope before publication.

  • Use case pages tied to a role, workflow and buying question
  • Integration pages that distinguish native support, partner support and documented workarounds
  • Consistent terminology across product pages, help content and public profiles

Documentation, security and implementation answers

Help technical evaluators find the facts needed to continue a review. We improve access and structure without exposing confidential material.

  • Public documentation that answers setup and administration questions
  • Security and procurement claims linked to approved public evidence
  • Implementation explanations that separate typical process from agreed customer scope

Useful public expertise

We identify relevant public discussions and prepare contributions where your team has something specific to add. Affiliation and community rules are respected.

  • Technical and operational answers based on real product expertise
  • Community contributions that help with the question instead of forcing a pitch
  • A record of drafts, approvals and verified public status

Editorial source work

We develop supported ideas for publications and category guides found through the source analysis. Editors decide what to publish.

  • A ranked target list tied to sources in the sampled answers
  • Pitches and expert articles built around useful category evidence
  • Separate records for outreach, replies and verified publications

Who confirms the claims

Marketing owns the plan. Product and sales keep it honest.

Choose one working contact and named owners for product, security and commercial facts. We agree which changes can proceed routinely, which need review and what evidence supports each sensitive claim.

Your systems and accounts stay under your control. We use named access for agreed work. An unanswered approval remains visible rather than being treated as permission.

Measurement

The business metric is a qualified booked demo start.

We agree two measurable goals for each service month, with the baseline, sources, calculation and dates written down. On this route, the primary commercial measure is qualified booked demo starts attributable to the B2B SaaS AI search journey. Route engagement and movement into the audit are leading signals.

MeasureWhat we recordHow to read it
Shortlist visibilityValid sampled answers naming the product, divided by all valid answers in the agreed question set.Presence in this defined sample, not total category market share.
Website citationsSampled answers linking to the company website, retaining the exact cited URL.Whether owned pages appear as sources. A mention does not require a citation.
Route and audit progressionPrivacy-safe engagement on this service route and transitions into the audit journey.Early buying interest. It does not establish product fit or a sales opportunity.
Qualified booked demo startsBooked demo starts meeting the agreed company and role criteria, with source evidence checked where systems are connected.Commercial progress attributable to the route when the evidence supports it. Assisted or self-reported discovery stays separate.

The baseline is established after release and before a result comparison. We do not record an unavailable baseline as zero. The written method fixes repeated runs, valid-answer counts, market and available personalisation controls. Missing data remains a limitation.

FAQ

Questions B2B SaaS teams ask before they hand it over.

How is this different from the free AI Search audit?
The audit is the initial diagnosis. This service is the ongoing research, delivery and measurement that follows. Requesting the audit does not start a paid service. Scope, access, approvals and goals are agreed first.
How is this different from Managed AI Search?
Managed AI Search is the broad service. This page applies the same operating model to the B2B software buying journey, including category shortlists, product comparisons, documentation, security review, integrations and qualified demo measurement.
Do you need access to our product or customer data?
Not by default. We begin with public pages, sampled answers and facts your team confirms. Any analytics, CRM, documentation or product access is discussed separately, limited to the agreed work and kept under your control.
Can you write about integrations or security without product review?
No. We can research the buyer question and prepare the structure, but your named owner must confirm product, integration and security claims. Confidential evidence does not become public merely because it helps an internal review.
How does the result-based fee work?
Each 30-day service month has two measurable goals agreed in writing. Half the fee is invoiced to start. Meeting either goal earns that month’s second half. If neither is met in the measurement period, the result payment is not charged. The service rolls month to month with 30 days’ written notice.
Can you guarantee a ChatGPT recommendation or a booked demo?
No. Engines choose their answers, and buyer behaviour varies. We control the agreed work and measurement method, not a particular recommendation, citation, editorial placement or sale. The result payment relates to the two written goals.
Will this replace our SEO, content or product marketing team?
No. Existing SEO foundations remain useful, and your team holds the product truth. Schmitdy adds repeated AI answer research, source analysis and an accountable delivery loop that can work with existing owners and agencies.
What should we include in the audit request?
Enter the company website and use the notes field for your category, priority competitors, target markets and the buyer questions that matter before a demo. Marco reviews the request and agrees a useful next step.
