London restaurant openings: eight places to know in September 2026

Where is KID and what should you order?

KID opened at 55 Frith Street, London W1D 4SJ on 1 September. It is chef Sertaç Dirik's first solo restaurant, created with David Carter. The kitchen combines modern Turkish cooking with British seasonal produce.

Where is Dumbo Soho?

Dumbo Soho opened at 37 Berwick Street, London W1F 8RS on 4 September. It follows the French smashburger brand's Shoreditch opening and becomes its second London location. The short menu keeps the choice focused on burgers and fries.

What is Manna's first standalone restaurant?

Manna opened at 54 James Street, London W1U 1HE on 4 September. Feroz Gajia's concept has moved beyond its Arcade food-hall counters and into its first UK standalone restaurant. The Marylebone menu is built around smash burgers and fried chicken.

What makes The Albatross different?

The Albatross opened at 8 to 10 Old Jewry, London EC2R 8DN on 7 September. It is the Wild Group's first pub, with George Bukhov-Weinstein and Ilya Demichev behind the project and Chris Piorkowski leading the kitchen.

Is Le Café LPM permanent?

Le Café LPM opened at The Lanesborough, Hyde Park Corner, London SW1X 7TA on 9 September. The all-day café is LPM's London debut and a one-year residency at the hotel.

What changed at Dear Jackie?

Beefbar at Dear Jackie opened at 20 Broadwick Street, London W1F 8HT on 10 September. Riccardo Giraudi's Beefbar has returned to London through a full relaunch of the former Bar Jackie and Dear Jackie spaces inside Broadwick Soho.

When does The Horses soft launch finish?

The Horses opened at 26 to 28 Ray Street, Clerkenwell, London EC1R 3DJ on 14 September. Public House Group took over the former Coach and Horses, bringing another pub into its London portfolio. The soft launch is scheduled to run through 27 September.

Why is Bleecker Camden in a September guide?

Bleecker Camden is this edition's explicit one-off August addition. It opened at 45 to 46 Middle Yard, Camden Lock Place, London NW1 8AF on 27 August. Founder Zan Kaufman's Camden Market restaurant is Bleecker's tenth London site and its first in North London.

How should you plan the route?
